Sandy completes Expert Care and Occupational Therapy CPR 35 reports for the Court as part of the medico-legal process.
She has gained over 15 years’ experience and is fully trained in her expert role, including her overriding duty to the Court.
She has received consistent positive feedback about her thorough approach, carefully considering the evidence and a person’s rehabilitation and care needs.
She is particularly skilled in completing assessments when there is a complex presentation following brain or spinal injury, including cognitive impairment, neuro-behavioural difficulties, vestibular disorders, and complex physical needs requiring specialist equipment and adaptations.
With ongoing cases in clinical assessment and rehabilitation, Sandy is able to maintain clinical expertise, keeping abreast of the evidence and best practice in occupational therapy and neurorehabilitation.
Sandy has experience in managing Conferences and Expert Meetings with confidence, being clear in her views and recommendations in order to achieve what she considers necessary for reasonable restitution.
